Our History
From a small gathering in a local dining room to the vibrant creative hub we are today, spanning over 50 years of artistic excellence.
1974
Jean Hill's Dining Room
The Millhouse Art Society was founded by Jean Hill and a passionate group of local artists, initially meeting in her dining room to share techniques and foster local talent.
1982
Kendall Cottage Era
The society moved to the historic Kendall Cottage, providing the first dedicated gallery space. It became a cultural cornerstone for Milton and the surrounding regions.
Present Day
Milton TAFE Creative Hub
We are now proud residents of the Milton TAFE campus, featuring a spacious gallery, workshop areas, and a community of over 200 active members.
